Simone Moreno - 12 June

Simone Moreno began her career on a flatbed truck during the legendary carnival in Rio. She was lauded by all the great musicians in her home country of Brazil, fell in love with a Swede and moved her entire samba repertoire to cold Sweden.

Simone performs samba with modern influences and is always well received by her audiences and fellow musicians. In recent years, we have heard her with Robyn, Lisa Nilsson, Håkan Hellström and Timbuktu, but to truly understand and appreciate her greatness, she needs to be seen and heard live. You won’t be able to stand still.
